Time & Talent! There is no shortcut in creating excellent Film & Television programming. Time in the field, in the studio, in post-production & in developing each story is mandatory as KT is hired to host clients’ travels or on occasion as he & Iris set out on a private adventure. With the help of his assistant Friday, Kevin contracts with the finest Outfitters and Outdoor Resorts in the country, passionately pursuing each excursion into America’s wilderness. Then comes the Talent gathered to tell the story using Words, Music & Pictures effectively. For example, the stirring theme music of the series has been co-written with Grammy/Academy Award-winning Songwriter, Will Jennings, one of America’s most celebrated songwriters whose works include “My Heart Will Go On”, title song from the motion picture, “Titanic” and the touching song, “Tears in Heaven” with Eric Clapton. Again, Time & Talent have no substitute. Care is taken from start to finish to insure that THE KT DIARIES delivers an extraordinary outdoor experience, engaging our audience in something special… the camaraderie & friendships, the anticipation, the dogs, the campfire & food… the lasting memories.

The Premise

Known as “KT” to friends and family, Kevin Townsend is a seasoned fly-fisherman and upland bird-hunter who, accompanied by Iris - his black and white English Setter, passionately seeks Outdoor Adventure wherever it leads.
The series is produced with cutting edge, state-of-the-art High Definition technology and brings viewers the breathtaking beauty and majesty of the World’s premier fishing and hunting treasuries.

THE KT DIARIES present authentic fishing and hunting action with helpful informative instruction, reports on environmental issues and the subtle lessons nature’s handiwork teaches about life. In addition, we love to tell stories about a Man and his Dog.
Whether KT and Iris are hosting clients or exploring new territories on their own, KT records each adventure in his personal diary. He challenges us all to give thought to the things that are important!

Based from a small operation in Nebraska, KT is ably assisted by his Australian-born female assistant, Friday, who plans, coordinates and tantalizes guests and viewers with her Aussie perspective of outdoor adventure!
Each exploit is highlighted with thrill-seeking travel to the destination and the inevitable challenges in hunting and fishing. And along the way, KT will proudly reveal the unique geographic and historic details that make each quest so memorable.
